Attendance
If your child is unable to attend a regularly scheduled class, he or she may attend a comparable class during that month. While we are happy to offer this makeup class policy, KidzLinx does not guarantee a make up class for every student absence.

Classes
A minimum number of students are required to hold a class.

Class Observation
We ask that all parents and siblings use the waiting room during class. It is distracting for students to have others in the studio during class. Children not participating in class should not enter the studio at any time. The KidzLinx staff is not responsible for supervising siblings and friends of students and cannot ensure their safety.

Community Appearances, Performances and other Activities
KidzLinx feels that it is important to be involved throughout the community and embrace other opportunities that may come up. Invitations and information about these events will be presented to students throughout the year.

Competition Eligibility
Students who are invited to participate in the Danz4Kidz competitions must be enrolled in the All Star Dance Team DanzLevelz classes. As a student on the competition team you and your guardian will be required to sign a competition team contract and adhere to those and all of the studio policy rules.

By participating in competitions you are required to also make competition entry fees, convention fees, competition costume payments on time.

The ONLY Fund-Raising Project that the facility will hold will be a program sponsor for one of our performance in either the spring or the fall. Monies raised for this project will be placed in a separate account for the use of the individuals who raised them, all money raised will be distributed to participating students to help with competition expenses. Kidzlinx will participate in only one event in the fall, entry fee $19.00.

Dress Code
KidzLinx does enforce a dress code for class. Klub, Dance N-Play programs, Kinderdanz^TM, students may wear traditional leotards, tights and dance shoes. DanzLevel and All Star Dance Team classes are required to wear a specific color t-shirt for class, black yoga pants and beige jazz shoes. The studio will hold shoe fittings the last week of each month. Studio t-shirts are available for $15.00. Jazz Shoes are $26.00, they are not available at local shoe stores.

Monthly Handouts
A monthly newsletter is available online to all students. Each newsletter includes important dates, news and information. Please check our website at the beginning of each month! Please make sure the office has your correct e-mail address! Beginning 2/1/09 our newsletter will GO GREEN, please check the website for updates.

Observation Weeks
At KidzLinx it is very important that you, the parent is informed of how your child is progressing. A very exciting program we hold three times throughout the year is our observation week where you are invited into class to watch your child dance. Observation weeks are done in November, February, and April; specific dates will be posted and sent home.

Picking Up Your Child
All students must be picked up inside the building. Children will not be allowed to wait outside or walk home without a written note from a parent. For the safety of your child, please inform your child's instructor of any change in who is picking up your child. As a courtesy to your child, please pick up on time. Thank you.
